Summer Sendoff Picnic
for North Texas Appointees of the United States Air Force Academy
and their families

The Admissions Liaison Officers (ALO), North Texas Association of Air Force Academy Graduates, and North Texas USAF Academy Parents Club will host a picnic, the "Summer Sendoff" for Appointees of the USAFA Class of 2013 (and Prep School USAFA Class of 2014) on June 13, 2009 at Parr Park in Grapevine/Colleyville. The Burger and Hot Dog burn begins at 1100 hrs. Immediately following the picnic, attendees are invited to participate in the a friendly softball game between Air Force appointees, grads and ALO’s.

This picnic includes the family members of the appointees, representatives from the North Texas AFA Parents Club, USAFA graduates, and USAF ALOs. It is a unique opportunity for the appointees and their family members to meet each other, and possibly make a friend or two. At the Academy, there’s nothing like seeing a friendly face for mutual support! Please come out and enjoy the camaraderie, support the appointees, eat a burger, and enjoy a friendly game of softball.
